I think it was a scam, so I’ve blocked the number and reported it.

Got a call from a bloke with a nice English accent saying he was from EE, but I just ended the call and looked up the number with EE myself. Turns out it wasn’t them at all. EE only call from numbers starting with 0845, and they definitely don’t have any call centres in Burnley, Lancs - where this call came from. Seems like loads of fake EE scams are going around trying to snag your bank info.
