1 yearJust got off a 7-minute call from someone called Sam who claimed he could sell me a 1 or 2-year maintenance plan for my phone line. He said it would fix pretty much any issue you could imagine! He mentioned it was for BT, TalkTalk, and a few others. I played along for a bit just for fun until he started asking if I wanted to use the same credit card as before (which I never used) or a different one. That’s when I told him, "Sam, this is obviously a scam, and I’m going to report you." He kept saying how much I’d been paying too, but that’s not true at all. I cut him off straight away, told him it sounded like a scam and that he was just fishing for my bank info.
