I received a call from a woman who seemed to be carrying out a survey of some sort. I promptly declined to participate, so I’m not really sure what the survey entailed. The caller accepted my refusal without any hassle. Interestingly, the number had the 01282 area code, which corresponds to the Burnley and Pendle region-just like my own!

Got a call from a bloke named Paul, supposedly doing a medical survey thing, offering a free pillow if I took part. But the moment I mentioned I’m retired, he just hung up straight away. Bit dodgy if you ask me!
