Today I got a call from this number. At first, there was a recorded voice telling me they were investigating some tax fraud connected to me. When I finally got through and gave them my name, they just ended the call straight away. Very strange behaviour!

What a joke, they actually try to scare you with threats about getting arrested. As if that’s going to happen! They really must believe everyone’s naive. Makes me upset thinking about the elderly or vulnerable folks who might get caught out by this nonsense.

Just picked up the phone for a laugh and it turned out to be a bogus call from hmre. They told me there was some arrest warrant over fraud stuff and to press ‘ for more details. I didn’t bother and just ended the call. If it was legit, they’d probably be banging on my door right now :)

dodgy call! they said i've done some dodgy tax stuff and told me to hit 1 to talk to an advisor. if I didn’t, they'd send me a warrant to get me arrested. complete rubbish!

I got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, telling me I’m involved in a fraud investigation and there’s a warrant out for my arrest. They said to press 1 or I’d be taken in. It’s awful how these scammers prey on folks, especially older people who might panic and actually press 1. People get really anxious about money and debt, and it’s terrible. Something really needs to be done to put an end to these nasty scams.

Got one of those hmre scam calls today! They said there’s a tax fraud case against me and even mentioned an arrest warrant. Total scam alert!

This number rings me a lot but never leaves a voicemail. I reckon whoever it is doesn’t really know who I am, otherwise they’d probably say something or send an email to explain why they’re trying to get hold of me.

I just got a call from this number not long ago. Normally, I don't pick up for numbers I don't recognise and usually look them up first, especially if I'm waiting for a call from someone unfamiliar.

Got a call about life insurance and told them my hubby sorts all that out. He then goes, "Why even answer the phone?" Well, maybe because it’s my phone to answer!
