On 30/07/2018, I got a call from a guy with an Indian accent saying he was a TalkTalk engineer. I could tell right away it was one of those common TalkTalk scams, so I just ended the call. Out of curiosity, I rang the number back to check and was told by Sky Talk Shield that the number is being monitored. I've also reported it to Sky Talk - surely they have records to identify who’s behind this.

Got a call the other day, sounded fishy - somebody trying to trick me into giving them access to my computer. Absolutely a scam, watch out!

They tried to convince me my internet was broken just so they could take over my computer - total nonsense from the start.

The line on the other end was really loud and I asked who it was, they just shouted something about brandy and whisky. Sounds like a spam call to me, so I just ended it. (01282 789605)

I got called by a woman with an Indian accent who just kept repeating ‘hello, hello’ over and over before suddenly cutting the call.

i picked up and heard this guy speaking with an indian accent in the background, but no one actually spoke to me. looks like another one of those old talk talk scam calls, i reckon.

A person said they were calling from TalkTalk, but I suspected it was a con. I told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call. After about ten minutes, they finally gave up and rang off.
