I got a call on my home phone from this number, the person said I supposedly had a mortgage with Nationwide Building Society. The bloke on the line sounded like he was from abroad. I didn’t confirm anything about having a mortgage. Then he asked if I live at the address he mentioned. When I asked why he needed to know, he sounded irritated and just said goodbye before hanging up. The number stayed on my phone screen, so I tried calling it back but got a message saying the number doesn’t exist. Strange!
