I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who said she was from Microsoft. She told me my computer had been compromised and someone was using it for betting. I said I couldn’t get to my computer just now, and she said she would ring me back in about 30 minutes and that I should have the PC ready. Oddly, the caller ID showed a number linked to a steel firm. When they called back, it was from another number entirely, 01282617345.
