I told him I never gave permission, but he said that didn’t matter and warned if I didn’t cooperate, my computer would get “permanently blocked” and I wouldn’t be able to go online. I pointed out Microsoft doesn’t control my internet access. Then I asked for his phone number; he gave me 03448 002400, but my caller ID showed 01282 610865 instead.
