This bloke with a thick Indian accent rang me, saying they’d seen I’m getting calls from overseas and offered to block them for me. I asked where exactly they were calling from, and he replied England. I told him I wasn’t interested, but he insisted it would stop all such calls. When I mentioned I’ve got mates all over the world, he said those calls would be blocked too. Later, I dialled the number he’d called from, and it was picked up by a guy with a proper English accent. Turns out, it’s a car company in Manchester who said they’d check into it for me.
