this person on the phone kept repeating the same question, wantin me to say ‘yes’, but i said no. I told them I’m deaf and asked if they could just email me the details. despite that, she kept asking the same thing over and over. apparently, i’ve won like 10 spots in some Euro lottery or something.

They actually use your first name to make it seem legit but it’s just one of those voice-activated robocalls trying to catch you out. If you say yes, they’ll put you through to someone who then tries to steal your bank info. Proper scam.
