Around 12.15 on 30.04.23, I got a random call on 01282380008 from a young woman with a soft voice. She claimed to know my name but got it wrong when saying it. When I asked who she was and why she was ringing, she hung up straight away. This number had been out of use for about two or three years before that. Since then, I've blocked the number. These kinds of unsolicited calls are really annoying as they tend to keep ringing you again and again.

The bloke spoke with a South-Asian accent, said his name was Ali and claimed he was ringing about an iPhone 13 deal at Carphone Warehouse. When I asked him to take me off their marketing list, he replied that he’d only do it if I gave him a kiss. I told him that was totally unprofessional and asked to speak to his manager. Then he said he *was* the manager and tried to flirt, even telling me about his salary. I hung up and blocked the number straight away.

He got the street right but the house number was wrong. When I asked "which number exactly?" he just went quiet. I said "are you gonna speak or what?" then I heard a laugh and the call just ended.
