Got a call from this number with an American voice on a recorded message saying it was some BT info alert and we had to press a button or our internet would be disconnected. We just hung up straight away and no further calls came through. I tried dialling ‘1471’ to see what number was actually calling - thought it’d be hidden but nope, there it was! As you’d guess, the internet's been working perfectly fine all day, so looks like just a typical scam attempt.
