Some bloke with an Indian accent phoned me saying my internet had been hacked and claimed he was from BT. He wanted me to open Google Chrome so he could "show" me where the hack was happening. I wasn’t falling for it, so I told him I’d ring BT myself. He then handed me a number to call to "verify" he worked there! Complete muppet. I just found the real BT contact number on their official website instead. He was desperate to keep me on the line. Honestly, don’t waste your time with these types! The dodgy number he gave me was 02032391172.
