A woman with an American accent called claiming to be from HMRC, Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, saying something about legal issues. I hung up straight away. I'm well retired and don't pay tax anymore, so it was clear to me that this was a scam. But for someone who still pays taxes, this kind of call is both worrying and a real nuisance.
