I got a call from someone claiming to be 02, pitching a limited-time deal that could vanish anytime. They even emailed me all the details as confirmation. It all sounded a bit too good to be true, so I told them I’d think it over and call 02 directly the next day. Later on, I clicked a link in the email, and it took me to the official 02 site - but the deal there was just for a SIM-only plan, nothing like what was described.

They dangle a tempting offer in front of you to spark your interest, then trick you into signing into a counterfeit O2 site where you inadvertently hand over your login info to crooks. Don’t fall for the nonsense this number peddles - make sure to block it without hesitation!
