I got a call from someone saying they were with O2, offering a 40% discount on my plan. I was suspicious since I’m still tied into a contract. When they asked if I wanted the deal, I said “maybe”. They kept pushing so I eventually agreed to hear more. Then they transferred me to another person claiming to be from O2 Telefonica, with the same offer. While this was going on, I quickly searched online and found reports of a scam like this. So I just told them “no thanks” and ended the call.
