Somebody called saying they were with O2 and could give me 40% off my bill because of COVID. Their accents were really thick and when I said I wasn’t following, they shuffled me between three different “managers.” I figured I’d just mess around and waste their time for a bit. None of them knew anything about my actual plan and wanted to send me some “verification texts.” That’s when I told them I wasn’t falling for it and they quickly ended the call.
