I got a call from 01782976196 the day before, someone pretending to be Alec Wilson from BT saying they needed to sort out some infected files on my internet. Then the next day, the same voice called again but from 01281582842, claiming the same issue. Definitely sounds dodgy to me.

I got a call from 01281582842 and some guy said he was Alec Wilson from BT. He kept telling me there was a problem with my internet, like some infected files or something. Funny thing is, the same number called me just the day before doing the same spiel. Definitely felt dodgy to me.

Got a call and there was nothing but silence on the other end. Just a heads up, be cautious with these quiet calls!

Had a call from someone saying they were from BT, but it smelled like a scam to me. They wanted access to my computer, so I just hung up. Be careful, it’s one of those dodgy attempts to hack your system.
