I received a call from this chap who seemed to know my entire name. He said he was reaching out about an insurance compensation claim related to a supposed car crash. Just goes to show, it's yet another scam doing the rounds!

This number kept ringing me like 5 times today between around half past ten in the morning and nearly five in the afternoon. At first, I thought it had to be something urgent, so I considered ringing them back. But then, I decided to hold back until I knew who it really was. My phone actually lets me know if someone I’ve already blocked tries to ring me, and turns out this number’s one of those. That made me ask myself why on earth I’d blocked it before. Obviously, that set off warning bells. After seeing what others have said about it, I’m glad I didn’t bother returning the call.

I have no clue who keeps calling, but they just won’t stop ringing my phone.

I rang them back and got a robotic message saying I’d been contacted by some protection team, but there’s nothing to worry about. They said if they need anything else, they’ll ring me again. Then the call just cut off. I’ve blocked the number straight away!

I got a call from someone claiming to be from a life insurance firm but it was clearly a scam. They asked for my card info and other private details, which felt really dodgy. Definitely not legit.

I got a call from this number and some bloke asked to speak to Eric Addae. Even though I’m a woman, I just said yeah. Then a woman’s voice came on trying to push life insurance. Pretty clear these people are scammers.

some bloke rang me up and already had my name, saying it was about insurance connected to a car crash they’d heard of. i told him i was on the tps and that i hadn’t asked for the call - he just cut me off straight away.
