I got a call from a woman who actually called me by my name, but she never told me who she was. The number shows it's from Buckinghamshire, but I don’t have any friends or family there at all. I reckon it’s some sort of scam, so I just blocked the number. Still, I can’t figure out how on earth she found out my name! Proper annoying 😡😡

Got a call from 01283152066, same prerecorded message like from 01286138216 about a couple hours earlier. Some American lady saying my TalkTalk broadband's gonna be disconnected soon. Been getting these calls on and off for 18 months now - total scam, don’t pick up or call back or you’ll probably be paying like £10 a minute. How come the regulators can’t block these idiots from using these STD numbers? Honestly, it’s beyond me. And with all the tech these days, why can’t they just track them down?? JC - York

Totally a scam, they were asking for someone called Nathan but that’s not me. When I said they’d got the wrong person, they tried saying it wasn’t a sales pitch. I just ended the call.
