I got a dodgy automated call with some robotic voice pretending to be "Bank Security," telling me to press buttons to "talk to an advisor" - which is obviously just a scammer. Looks like this number's been used for scams for ages. Honestly, BT should have blocked it by now. What on earth is BT doing about this? Are they taking a cut or something?

The caller had a foreign accent. I kept chatting with him for some time, then he got annoyed and hung up.

I reckon it’s the Nutwood Bank chasing after Noddy and Big Ears.

Received a call from 01280 745741 earlier. It was a robo message claiming that someone made big transactions on "your card," including one over £900. They never said which card exactly. Seemed a bit dodgy, so I just hung up. Checking your site, it looks like scammers for sure. Can’t someone report them to the cops? I imagine they could track down where they’re calling from with that number. Just thought I’d share in case it helps.
