Got a call from someone pretending to be Siemens asking for details about fitting a smart meter for Scottish Power. But when I checked with Scottish Power, they said they’re not partnered with Siemens and definitely didn’t send anyone to ring me. Total scam.

Pretty sure this is Siemens calling on behalf of Bulb regarding smart meter setups, which I had cancelled like lots of others here. They left a number to reschedule with Bulb: 03003030635. Waited another month and rang it, only to get told the number isn’t recognised. Seems like their outgoing calls don’t work either. Really rubbish service overall.

I rang United Utilities myself and they said they never made that call and have no record of it. Looks like a phishing scam trying to get your info. Best advice - hang up and contact United Utilities yourself.
