someone said they were from bt and was asking about my internet speed, sounded a bit off to me.

My elderly mum got a call from someone who tricked her. They said she'd save money on her phone bill, never really said who they were. She ended up handing over her info because of that. It's really sad how they do this to older people.

Somebody called me pretending to be from Sky Broadband, trying to make me think there's a problem. This isn’t the first time I've had a call like this over the last few months. I got in touch with Sky myself, and they told me everything's fine with my broadband and they would get in touch properly if anything was wrong.

Someone just called me claiming to be from BT Openreach about my internet. My connection's working perfectly fine and they're def not my internet company. Pretty sure it was some kind of scam or mistake.

I let the call go to voicemail since the number was unfamiliar to me. Seems like just another spam because no one actually has my home phone number!
