Received a rather unpleasant automated call today from a woman with a distinct American twang, purporting to be representing TalkTalk. She warned that my internet connection was on the brink of being terminated and urged me to dial '1' to connect with a technician. I've had my fair share of these dodgy calls before, so it's clear this is just another scam. Tried ringing the number back, but got the classic unobtainable tone. I’ve got a few choice words for them if only I could reach out!
