My landline rang, and it was a recorded message claiming my IP address was at risk. They told me to press 1 to fix the problem. I just hung up straight away because it felt dodgy to me. Later on, I made sure to block the number too!

Had a call from a different number today, some sort of scam pretending to be BT. They said my internet would be cut off in a day because of supposed illegal stuff on my router. I pressed 1 like they told me and got connected to someone at a call centre who claimed there was an issue with my router and wanted to access my computer. That’s when I just ended the call and blocked them straight away.

Got a call from a woman saying that my BT line is gonna be disconnected in a day unless I press a number to talk to someone. Sounded a bit off to me.
