Cheers for the heads up. Lately, loads of folks have been getting calls from people pretending to be Amazon, saying stuff about renewing your Prime membership or warning that your account’s about to be shut down. They usually ring from a new number each time, so blocking one number might not really help much.

You can really get caught out by those credit card phone scams. If you accidentally share your details, make sure to ring up your actual card provider straight away. They'll be able to shut down your current card and send you a new one with a different number so no one can make dodgy purchases using your account.

Got a call from some weird robot saying they'd charged me £39.99 for Amazon Prime. Problem is, I don't even have Prime! Smells like a total scam to me. They kept saying "Press one to talk to a person" but I didn't bother - maybe if you do, you end up paying for the call or something dodgy. Definitely wouldn't trust it!
