I’ve gotten a few calls lately from a woman with an American accent claiming to be from TalkTalk. They’re always from numbers starting 0128 and either want you to take part in some “household survey” or warn that your internet will be cut off in two days. It turns out that numbers beginning with 0128 are known to be spoofed, most likely fake and generated by a scammer’s computer system. Definitely dodgy. I’ve blocked them straight away.
