My suggestion? Just block the number.

No clue who it is. I tried calling the number back and some silly robotic voice answered, sounded like a cartoon or something. My guess is it’s one of those premium lines that’ll charge loads if you call it again. Honestly, I’d just block it and be done with it.

At precisely 10:18, I picked up a call, thinking it was from someone local due to the area code. Instead, I was greeted by a foreign-accented voice on a recorded message saying, ‘Please hold the line, your call is important to us,’ and then, abruptly, the call cut off! This was the first time I’ve ever answered this particular number, so I can’t say if they’ve tried to reach me before. I’m not often home and usually rely on my mobile for most conversations. My landline receives calls mainly from my parents, school, and doctors, who always leave messages. Earlier, around an hour prior, I received a call from the number 02031988108, which has repeatedly tried to get through, but when I answer, it goes silent too.
