Called the number back and nothing! Definitely a scam, doesn’t even ring through, the number’s probably made up. Avoid it for sure.

I got a call from someone saying they were from my internet provider and that I had to log into Windows and carry out some steps. I think I picked the wrong provider on their list. Earlier, they’d called me from a different number, telling me there was a problem with my router and asking me to do the same thing.

My husband got a call on his mobile from a man who sounded Indian and wanted to talk to me. When he said I wasn’t around, the man said he’d phone again. You could hear kids playing in the background during the call.

Some so called ambulance chasers called me claiming i had been in an accident and that they had my details. When I asked for my name to confirm, they just ended the call straight away.
