Got loads of calls from different numbers, all about BT and internet, from a woman called Shirley. In just 2 weeks, I’ve had about 16 calls but none of the numbers showed up properly. So annoying!

Got a call from 01279656185 earlier today, this American woman claimed my internet was gonna get cut off soon. Felt fishy straight away so I ended the call. I then called 1471 to check who it was and it told me 01279 656185. Definite scam in my opinion.

Over the last few days, I've got a few automated calls from someone speaking with an American accent, warning that our internet was hacked by multiple countries and would be cut off in a day. Each time the phone number seemed to change. I didn’t bother to listen all the way through after hearing enough. It’s so frustrating, especially as we’re in our eighties and not very well. Really wish there was some way to stop these annoying calls. Some people are just awful, making money this way!

Got a call from this number, it showed up as coming from abroad. It was some recorded message from someone called Shirley, sounded like one of those internet scams. I only hung around to listen for a bit before just dropping the phone. Honestly, these folks are just the worst!
