2 yearsI got a call that showed up with a local area code, but it was definitely a scam. The automated message said there’d been suspicious activity on my Visa card and told me to press '2' to reach their fraud department. Then a person came on asking for my full name, phone number, date of birth and stuff. When I asked which bank they were from, they said they worked for all banks. I questioned why they’d use a local number if that was true, and then they just hung up.
