Got a call today from an automated system telling me to press 2 to chat with an advisor about some supposed government backed boiler scheme. I’m on the TPS list, so how on earth are they still able to get through? This week alone I’ve had about 14 calls from them. When you hit 2, it says someone will get back to you, which basically means you’re giving them the green light to keep ringing. I only pressed it to tell them off but it made no difference - now my phone won’t stop buzzing with calls. What’s the point of these calls anyway? Are they just trying to annoy people or are they genuinely after real customers? Plus, I don’t even live in the house with the brand new boiler they’re going on about. I’m seriously tempted to disconnect the line because these pests just keep coming. And I only changed my number months ago to escape this rubbish! Absolute nightmare.

Got a call today around 2.33pm claiming about free solar panels and boilers. Honestly, the last couple of weeks I’ve been getting these auto calls, like 8 or more, all exactly the same message. Quite annoying really!

Got a call from this number around 2:30pm today. They didn’t leave any voicemail. Strange thing is, the number showed up clearly, which you don’t usually get with spam calls, so I figured maybe it was legit. Tried ringing back but the line was dead, number doesn’t connect at all... Honestly, being on the TPS register doesn’t help much these days. Loads of telemarketers ignore it and just use some automated system that dials numbers at random. It’s quite frustrating really.
