Got a recorded call claiming my internet would be disconnected because of ‘illegal activity’. It told me to ‘press 1 to talk to an agent’ which was a dead giveaway it was a scam. The voice sounded all chopped up and fake, like some badly done robot. Didn’t even hesitate, just blocked the number straight away.
