I got this automated call, sounded like it was from either Canada or the US, saying it was from BT and threatening I’d get arrested soon. Pretty sure it was just a scam.

Got a call saying it was TalkTalk, telling me my line was corrupted and that it’d be cut off soon unless I pressed 1 or 2 to sort it out. Bit odd, cos I’m already in the middle of a live chat with TalkTalk’s tech support trying to fix my problem! This call came right on the back of that.
