this guy rang me, asian accent real thick, asking if i'd been in an accident. i kept it going for a bit, then said i was only 15. after that, he said i sound "s**y" and wanted to meet up. i told him twice i was 15, but he didn't seem bothered. then i said i'd report him to the cops, and he went on about if i believed in God i wouldn’t do that. then he just ended the call. weird and creepy.

I've received multiple calls from this number, yet every time there's no one on the other end. It feels like a bit of a scam, to be honest. How can I go about blocking this number entirely?

Someone tried ringing me but luckily my call blocker stopped it from coming through, although their info was still saved in the system. From what I can tell, they just blast out calls without updating any lists or anything. They won’t succeed with me for sure. I also noticed a few calls from hidden numbers, but those got blocked straight away too.

Got a call from someone saying they were checking on an accident for Direct Line because someone else had given our number. When I asked for info to prove the call was legit, she said she couldn’t share anything ‘because of Data Protection’. I told her that didn’t make sense - if I was involved, she should be able to give some basic info to confirm who she was. I also mentioned we’d told them multiple times to stop ringing us. Then she just ended the call.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying something about my car being in an accident. Really? He said it was in some accident database. So I asked him when it supposedly happened and what car it involved. He didn't have an answer and clearly didn’t check who he was speaking to. Then, he just ended the call. Total scam, no doubt.

Got a call from a lady with a really strong Asian accent, but she wouldn’t say what company she was from. When I asked her to explain, she just didn’t answer and kept going on about some car crash that I wasn’t involved in. Once I told her there was no accident, she just cut the call straight away.
