4 yearsThis morning around 9am, I got a call with some automated message saying my Amazon Prime account had expired and I'd be charged £95! We don't actually have Amazon Prime, but the voice said to press 1 if I wasn’t happy, so I pressed it - not sure if that was a mistake. Then an Asian bloke came on the line and asked who we were. My husband told him to explain why they were ringing, but he kept going on about needing our email address and stuff. My husband said to send him a form to fill in and hung up. Now I’m a bit worried that pressing 1 could’ve got me scammed or might lead to some expensive premium call charges.
