I've received multiple calls on my landline from a number, 01278 455159, which claimed to be about an Amazon account linked to me. They insisted that I check an email regarding a supposed smartphone purchase. On another occasion, the caller bizarrely inquired if I had just made a £900 purchase on Amazon. A couple of red flags here - first off, I don’t have an Amazon account at all, and when I requested the caller’s name, both times they abruptly terminated the call. Just a heads up - beware of this number!
