I got a call from someone saying they were from BT about my internet, but it sounded off. When I asked a few questions, they just hung up. Pretty sure it wasn’t a genuine BT employee.

Got a call from this bloke claiming he was George Wilson at BT, sounded like he was somewhere in India or around there. He was really pushy, wouldn’t take no for an answer and called again after I’d hung up, wanting info about my router. Told him to send a letter explaining the issue, but he kept on swearing he worked for BT. Eventually just ended the call.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming to be from BT. When I asked him to say it again, he spelled it out: "British Telecommunications." I told him straight away that I wasn't with BT, but he insisted everyone was, saying they're the biggest internet provider in the UK. I just told him I wasn't bothered by that info and asked what he wanted. Then he just hung up on me.
