Got calls two days in a row from this number claiming there were fake payments from my account - like £300 to Amazon and £1100 sent out somehow. I never did any of those transactions. Blocked the number straight away. Definitely looks like a classic bank scam.

Got a call from this number, 01278328561, pretending to be the bank’s security team. They said there were 2 unauthorised payments: one was about £300 for Amazon and the other was over £1100 sent abroad. Totally felt like a scam, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number. Pretty obvious fraud attempt.
