Got a phone call like this too, they said a big amount was taken from my account for Amazon and then a smaller charge from some other firm. I just ended the call straight away and plan to tell my landline provider about it.

On Monday the 27th of June 2022 at about 1:54 pm, I got a call from an automated message claiming a large payment was made from my bank account to Amazon, plus another charge. The voice told me to press some buttons to cancel or get details. I didn’t trust it and just ended the call straight away, thinking it’s one of those scams.
