This number has rung me a couple times today. I didn’t pick up and after seeing what folks are saying here, I’m relieved I didn’t. Keeps bothering me with calls, not sure why.

Had a rather suspicious phone call today from 01278 328353 this 22nd of June, 2022. They claimed to be contacting me from my bank, although they conveniently omitted the name of the institution. They talked about two purported transactions-one for £300 to Amazon and another international one for a hefty £1000. I was prompted to press 1 to confirm these transactions or 2 to chat with an adviser. Naturally, I had a look at my bank account, and lo and behold, there was nothing of the sort. Definitely a scammer on the line!

Got a call from some automated bloke with an American accent saying they'd just taken £79 from my Amazon Prime account. It told me to press 1 to cancel or 2 for other options or something like that. Total scam, I hung up and blocked the number straight away.
