I wonder when the authorities will actually do something about these annoying calls. They really target the elderly and those who are easy to trick.

This number rang me twice, once yesterday and once more today. I picked up thinking it was just a local caller. Turned out to be a bloke with a strong northern accent asking for me by name, claiming he’d been told I've worked in the industry - which is totally wrong! I told him he must be mistaken and he just ended the call. I’m signed up with the TPS like loads of others using this site. It’s a total farce and just wasting everyone’s time. Even with loads of complaints, nothing seems to change about these annoying calls!

Yesterday they rang me about four times but I wasn’t home to pick up. Today, when I finally answered, they just ended the call right away.
