I just had Sophie ring me again, from Sphinx Alphine insurance - some nonsense about a car accident that wasn’t even my fault. This time they used a different number: 01430 084917. When I answered, I jokingly said, “Is this about the crash where everyone died?” There was a long pause and then they asked, “Sorry, what did you say?” I repeated myself and before I could say more, the call dropped. 😂 Definitely blocked that number now.

I got a call from a lady first who said I should speak to a guy called Michael. When I asked Michael how he had found my number, he just ended the call. He said my info came from the 'Road Traffic Accidents Department' but as far as I know, that department doesn't exist and there's no way they'd have my contact. Seemed fishy to me.
