Since Saturday, I’ve had four calls from someone saying they’re with BT, offering to block nuisance calls. The voice sounded Indian and like it was from a call centre. Weirdly, the caller knew loads about my BT account and payment details. When I asked why the call came from a Brentwood number that’s actually linked to Magrathea, they just brushed it off and kept going with their pitch. I ended the call, but they rang me straight back. When I didn’t pick up, they left a message that didn’t make any sense on my voicemail.

Someone rang saying they were from the TPS call blocking team. When I asked where they were based, the line just went dead. Blocked that number straight away.

I've been getting calls from 01277887965 on my landline at least three times daily over the past three days. Every time I pick up, there's just dead silence. Even when I tell them to leave a message on my answer machine, nothing. Really odd behaviour.

Today i got two calls from the same number but didnt pick up. A few days ago they rang me three times, and i did pick up twice. There was some weird voice on the line with a really odd accent, didnt really want to say much tho!
