Someone rang me saying they were from BT, telling me my internet was slow because of a high ping on my router, which wasn’t true at all. I ended up chatting with them for about 23 minutes. I then asked nicely if they were still in Sector 5, Salt Lake City, Kolkata, and they just ended the call. If you can manage to keep these scammers talking, it might prevent them from tricking others. And never, ever share any passwords or codes they request.
