26 daysI got a call on my landline, but the person just cut off before leaving any message on my answering machine. Strange!1 monthGot another call today from a 01277 number, second time now. Both just rang through to voicemail and no one left anything. Seems like blatant cold calling, even though I’m registered with TPS.TPS1 monthI called back but it just went straight to voicemail. After about 12 seconds of silence, the call suddenly ended. Most likely some sort of scam.1 monthI just let it ring till it stopped, didn’t leave any message.1 monthThere was this automated message going "Hello, it’s Jackie calling from Dampguard. Don’t worry, this will just take a moment. Are you the person who owns this house?" I hung up straight away; sounds like a classic scam aimed at people who might be easy to fool.Jackie1 monthLooks like a spam attempt 24.09.2026. I missed a call from 052 520 9848 around 17:57 since it was after working hours, and they didn’t leave a voicemail. Then at 18:01, got another call from 071 520 2321, probably a follow up, also no message. I even got a text about these calls on my phone.1 monthThey just stayed silent and then ended the call.1 monthYeah, got this recorded message from someone called Jackie. Told them nope, not interested. Definitely a scam.Jackie1 monthIt's a bit suspicious when they don’t bother leaving a message, even though they easily could. That pretty much rings alarm bells for me.1 monthAnother call today from a "housing repair" outfit, and it’s not the first time either. Been getting loads of these, but the numbers they use are always a bit different. Just under an hour ago, 01277679139 rang us out of the blue. We never asked for this, and we’re on the TPS list, so it’s pretty frustrating.TPS1 monthIt was Jackie again, saying there was no need to fret and that she’d be done in no time. Like I said earlier.Jackie1 monthI’m on the TPS and my number’s ex-directory, so they really shouldn’t be calling me. When my answerphone kicked in with a message about nuisance calls and said I don’t pick up anymore, I just hung up straight away without saying a word.TPSSubmit Your Own Report (01277 679141)
