Got a call from 01227 620808 (not 01277 620808) about my washing machine's insurance running out. They knew my full name and where I live, but as soon as I asked more about the insurance, they just dropped the call. Felt really suspicious to me.

I got four calls from these people all in the space of one afternoon! Definitely scammers as others have mentioned. Best thing to do is just block the number on your phone.

Got a call from someone saying my washing machine cover needed renewing and asked for my bank info. When I said I’d have a look at my documents first, they just ended the call. The number shows it’s from a firm called D.A.G, which is nothing to do with D+G, in case you were wondering. Seems a bit dodgy to me.
