He boasted about securing contracts with multiple elderly folks over eighty, which left me utterly baffled as to why I wouldn’t just hand over £3,500 on the spot. To add to the mischief, I received another call today claiming that, due to my previous installer going belly up, I was eligible for a complimentary assessment yet again. It feels as though they’re just out to extract cash through some dodgy scheme.

Had a bunch of calls lately from this number and others like it, each time a different person saying they’re from ‘s.h.e.’ They keep telling me they can cut down my water heating bills - which is strange cos I’ve got solar water heating already. Seems like they might’ve got my info from the dodgy lot who put it in. They’re pushing something called thermodynamic panels, saying it costs around £500 to fit. I found it funny since when the solar tubes don’t heat the water properly, an immersion heater kicks in, powered by electricity from the solar panels I have!
