Sounds like one of those Covid scams coming from a call centre in India or somewhere similar. They wanted to know if I’d had the vaccine. So I flipped it back on them, asking if they’d been jabbed and what brand they got, going on and on just to keep them busy. In the end, they gave up and hung up.

A man with a noticeable foreign accent called claiming to be from the NHS. He asked if I’d got the paper version of my Covid vaccine certificate with the barcode, given that I’d had both jabs. I told him I hadn’t received it yet, and he said he’d arrange for it to be sent out. Then, rather than ending the call, he started asking if I had any NHS-related questions, which I didn’t. Out of the blue, he moved on to ask whether I had any sort of financial cover if I fell seriously ill. I said I was covered by my employer’s sick pay. Then he corrected himself saying he meant life insurance cover but insisted he wasn’t trying to sell anything, just gathering info because the Government might be able to assist. I told him I had some kind of cover but couldn’t recall the provider. He was quite pushy, telling me to try and remember and mentioned he’d call again. Bit suspicious really, especially since he already knew I’d been fully vaccinated. Not sure if this was a legit call or a scam.
