Had the same thing happen to me, they claimed they were from O2 even though I’m with a different provider. I got drawn in for a moment, but once I started raising my voice, they just cut the call. Such a dodgy scam!

These scamming ####s are faking being from O2, it’s disgusting. There’s a fresh trick now where they record your voice, then use AI to fake it… all they need is just FIVE seconds of your voice and they can sound like you to ring others! Don’t say anything, just put the phone down! Also, make sure you report them to the ‘Operator’ mentioned above.. they’re the ones leasing out the number! If you tell the operator and they don’t block them, they’re basically helping the scam! We’ve got to do something and get this stopped!
